A-level (Advanced) qualifications focus on traditional study skills and normally take two years to complete.
You can choose from a wide range of academic subjects, as well as some ‘applied’ (work-related) subjects.
Many students use A-levels to go on to higher education, but they are also useful if you want to go straight into employment.
If you do not have a grade C/4 in GCSE Maths or English we expect you to resit these.
Entry criteria for three subjects:
Minimum of four Cs and two Bs at GCSE plus additional specific requirements for some subjects.
Entry criteria for four subjects:
Mainly GCSE grades A/A* across all GCSE subjects plus additional specific requirements for some subjects.
