If your son/daughter is not well enough to come into College - he or she or their parent/guardian should telephone the College to give a reason to why they will not be in College. The message will be passed to the tutor and the College's Attendance Officer. The absence telephone number is: 01375 898608.

Attendance at EVERY lesson and tutorial is monitored by an electronic register.

Parents will be telephoned or letters will be sent home if your child does not attend lessons. Contact will also be made if the student's attendance falls below 85%.

Employers will ask the College for attendance records and attendance is recorded on your progress updates.

NB: Students are asked not to take holidays during term time.
