In early November 2010 49 A2 Biology students and 3 members of staff went to Pembrokeshire, South Wales for the annual Biology field trip. While there the students investigated a number of habitats including rocky shores and freshwater streams and were introduced to a whole range of sampling techniques. It was a wonderful opportunity to see animals and plants in their natural habitat and relate this to theory covered in class.
This visit was for first year IB History students. As part of their studies they visited Battle for the history of the Norman Conquest and Bodium Castle for medieval warfare.
The zoo trip was organised to support the Customer Service units being studied as part of the student's Business courses. Students were able to see Customer Service in action and identify different needs of different customers.
