Secretarial and Administration Courses: OCR Word Processing Diploma with Office Skills

 

Why study OCR Word Processing with Office Skills?

This course is suitable for students wishing to gain a secretarial qualification alongside their A-level or BTEC programme.

What do I study?


OCR Text Processing Certificate/Diploma – Levels 2 and 3 which includes:

• text production
• word processing
• audio transcription
• mail merge
• business presentations (PowerPoint)
• document presentations

Specialist modules in Medical Word Processing and Medical Audio Transcription may also be studied.

Business Communications

Communication is taught practically, using office scenarios.  You will learn how to write and respond to business letters, memos, job descriptions, reports, agendas, fax, e-mail and instructions/guidance notes.

Where does OCR Word Processing with Office Skills take me?

The qualifications gained on this course will enable you to seek secretarial employment. The transferable skills learnt on this course will aid your studies at college and university.

What do I need?

 Grade C or above in GCSE English is essential.
