What do I study?
Teeline shorthand theory and speed to minimum of 80WPM. OCR Text Processing Certficate/Diploma - levels 2 and 3 which includes:
Specialist modules in Medical Word Processing and Medical Audio Transcription at level 2 may be studied.
Where does the OCR Shorthand & Word Processing Diploma take me?
If you intend to become a journalist you will be exempt from studying shorthand during your journalist training. You will be able to find highly paid temporary employment during vacation to help you fund your Higher Education course. If you are seeking employment, these qualifications together with your A-levels or BTEC qualification will open the door to the best and most highly paid jobs in the workplace.
What do I need?
