International Students

Palmer's College welcomes applications for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. We currently have students who have come from schools in France, Greece, Italy, Latvia and Venezuela.

The College is state-funded. Students from the Eurpoean Economic Area (EEA) may study here on the same terms as UK nationals. The EEA consists of all member states of the European Union, together with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Swiss nationals also have the same rights. For more information, please visit: http://www.ukcosa.org.uk/student/eea.php.

For students from outside the EEA, the UK requires the College to charge a fee which is likely to be £5100 for 2009-2010. Please check on how you can apply to come and study at Palmer's College by going to the website of the UK Border Agency : www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/eligibility/

Additional information about visa requirements can be found at: www.ukvisas.gov.uk/howtoapply/infs/inf5students

The language of instruction is English (apart from foreign language classes). You need to be able to cope with advanced teaching, reading and discussion in English. We will wish to discuss this with you after you apply.

The College is unfortunately unable to help with arranging accomodation. Since we are quite close to London, it can take some time to arrange this, and it can be quite expensive. A lot depends on the relevant rate of exchange.

If you have any enquiries, please email the IB Diploma Co-ordinator or call +441375 370121.
